November News Roundup

The year is almost up, but once again, we’ve had an explosive month of positive news and exciting announcements for team Quintex. From joining Amber Energy to being shortlisted for an award, the excitement hasn’t seemed to stop all month and we’re so proud of what we’ve achieved once again.

Partnering with amber energy

This month, we were proud to announce our partnership with amber energy! Amber energy is the global utilities company with a simple mission: to fix utilities, save the planet and make people happy, leading the way in the energy industry.

Our very own Emma Brooks caught up with them to talk about how our company started, the kind of businesses we support and what our plans are for the future. You can see the interview on their website here: https://bit.ly/3oXnEOb.

We’re looking forward to seeing where this partnership takes us

Shortlisted for a Kitchen & Equipment award

We were delighted to find out that we’d been shortlisted for the Supplier of the Year – Sustainability award this month!

This award is for a supplier which is championing environmental product development and energy efficient products, and is part of the Kitchen and Equipment Awards run by Catering Insight and Foodservice Equipment Journal.

It really means a lot to the whole team and we’re so proud of each and every member of Quintex who continues to work so hard in such uncertain times. You can see more about the award and who else was shortlisted here: https://bit.ly/36aFPHE.

New Quintex brochures!

Our new brochures are here and we’re so impressed with how great they look! We now have company brochures available, as well as separate brochures for each of our solutions and QFinance, our financing support option.

If you’d like to request a particular brochure, please do get in touch with us on 0118 973 9310 or email us at sales@quintex.co.uk.

Biofix animation

We shared our new animation for Biofix! Biofix is a grease management system that uses a unique blend of tailored, safe bacteria designed to consume FOGs (fats, oil and grease deposits) and food particles in spores form. Our new animation explains the entire process and just how it can benefit both new and existing kitchens.

Emma appointed to FEA council

We’re very pleased to announce our very own Emma Brooks has been appointed into the FEA council for the next three years! Emma will not only be a council member, but also Chair of the Ventilation and Fire Suppression Group.

On behalf of everyone here at Quintex, a huge congratulations to Emma on her new role – you will be a brilliant asset for the council and it will be great to have the ventilation community represented.

Our Favourite November News Story

We’re always checking out recent news stories in the office and we love anything out of the ordinary. This one in particular grabbed our attention in November!

Baby Yoda Goes To Space In SpaceX Capsule

SpaceX’s newly-launched capsule with four astronauts arrived at the International Space Station, their new home until spring. And with them travelled Baby Yoda – the creature from The Mandalorian who won hearts with his cuteness. A Baby Yoda plush toy was sent into space along with four astronauts on SpaceX’s second-ever crewed flight.

The three Americans and one Japanese astronaut will remain at the orbiting lab until their replacements arrive on another Dragon in April. And so it will go, with SpaceX – and eventually Boeing – transporting astronauts to and from the station for NASA.

We’re looking forward to seeing what December brings for both Quintex and the industry, and we’d like

to thank everyone for making November such a great month for us!
