It’s been a tough few months for everyone, but things are slowly beginning to pick up as we begin our new normal here in the UK. Business is slowly returning for many industries, and even though this is a sigh of relief for many, we’ve still got a lot to think about. Social distancing measures, regular sanitising and amended opening hours are now common in many establishments, so to ensure you get the facts from us, we wanted to give you a quick update as to where we’re at as a business.
We temporarily closed our doors back on March 27th to adhere to government regulations. Our staff have been working from home ever since and even though this is far from what we’re used to, we’ve seen the usual dedication and motivation from the whole team in order to get things running smoothly again, which we’re incredibly grateful for.
We reopened the office on July 1st, with our sales team manning the phones and creating the new normal for Quintex. Most of the other members of the team are now in the office for 2 days per week. We’ve put a number of measures into place to ensure the office is as safe as possible and that our team is comfortable coming to work.
The team has admitted that it does feel strange to be back in the office after such a long break, but during this time, it’s allowed us to think about what we’re doing for our customers and exactly where we can put more focus to help them further. Seeing the Quintex family back together again has been particularly motivating, even if it’s just a few days per week at the moment, but we’re looking forward to the time where things can finally get back to how they used to be!
Now businesses in the catering and hospitality sector are reopening once again, we’re urging everyone to think about getting their commercial kitchens up and running safely.
